HEALTH PROTOCOLS FOR TRAVELERS
All visitors to Cuba will need to fill out the Sanitary Statement for Travelers (Declaración de Sanidad del Viajero), a sort of health declaration form. You will be asked to complete the form just before checking in for your flight to Cuba, or during the flight.

In correspondence with the international and national epidemiological situation of COVID-19 and the levels of immunization achieved, it has been decided to make the following modifications to the requirements for entering the country as part of the International Sanitary Control.
• Eliminate as a requirement to enter the country the presentation of a test for COVID-19 (antigen test or PCR-RT) carried out in the country of origin, as well as the anti-COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
• Keep taking samples for the study of SARS CoV-2 (free) randomly from travelers at the points of entry into the country, taking into account the number of flights, the entry of ships and the epidemiological risk that the country of origin represents. source.
• If the sample taken at the point of entry is positive, it will proceed according to the protocols approved in the country for the clinical-epidemiological control of COVID-19.
• Maintain all flows and measures implemented at all points of entry into the country that guarantee social distancing and the disinfection of hands and surfaces.

Measures to comply with in the new stage related to the control of COVID-19
- Eliminate the mandatory use of the mask for all social activities, except in medical consultations and hospitalization services that require it, and restricted areas during focus controls.
- The use of masks is mandatory for people with respiratory symptoms.
- It is important that vulnerable people continue to use the mask as a protection measure, not only against COVID-19.
- Carry out systematic and updated training for all workers related to hygiene standards for individual and collective protection.
- The use of a mask is recommended in scenarios with agglomeration of people where it is not possible to maintain adequate physical distance.
- The decision to not allow people with respiratory symptoms to enter work and student centers is maintained.
- In each of these places, as well as in the health services and food preparation and sale areas, the necessary resources for hand washing and disinfection must be guaranteed.
- The obligatory use of foot steps at the entrance of public institutions and work centers is eliminated.
- It is mandatory to disinfect surfaces for collective use. For this, 0.5% sodium hypochlorite or 70% hydroalcoholic solution will be used.
